Description

The Chromalox 6040 Series of controllers is designed for controlling temperature, flow, valve positioning, and pressure in demanding applications. They’re easy to install and feature a modular design that allows for expansion as application needs change. The 6040-RR000 model, in particular, has the smallest footprint (1/16 DIN), can be configured with up to three outputs, and features an intuitive display with four buttons, 10 mm and 8 mm high LED displays, and 5 LED indicators.

  • Three Outputs: This controller can be configured with up to three outputs for control, alarm, transmitter power supply, or retransmission of process value or setpoint.
  • Flexible Control Types: The 6040-RR000 is a complete PID controller with multiple control modes, including self-tune, pre-tune, on/off control, heat-only, heat-and-cool, and manual tuning.
  • Advanced Monitoring: If you configure your controller with an alarm output, you’ll receive notifications when the process temperature and pressure are too high or too low, and when the setpoint is deviating. You can also customize logical OR/AND alarms. All process alarms have an adjustable hysteresis.
  • Easy to Use: This controller is designed for both easy installation and configuration.
  • Multiple Remote Setpoint Input Options: Choose from 0 to 20 mA, 4 to 20 mA, 0 to 5V, 1 to 5V, 0 to 10V, or 2 to 10V.
