Hi-Watt carries Tempco Cast-In Heaters, available in many designs, including band, circulation, die platen, thermo-platen, semiconductor platen, and ring for use in beverage equipment, plastic extruder barrels or dies, silicon wafer processing, silk screen equipment, wave solder equipment, and more.

Most models can be constructed from aluminum, bronze, or brass alloy and are highly customizable based on unique application needs, including flat surface requirements and environmental restrictions.

  • Air or Liquid Cooling: Cast-in heaters can be used for air-cooled or liquid-cooled systems. If the heaters are used in liquid cooling systems, they can be engineered with stainless steel tubes.
  • Highly Customizable: Hi-Watt sources and specifies Tempco Cast-In Heaters in any size, weight, or shape. Widths, lengths, diameters, material construction, exit-location configuration, surface treatments, and other factors are selected based on application requirements.
  • Optional Surface Treatments: Cast-in heaters can feature standard 125 RMS, electroless nickel plating, anodizing, Teflon®, hard-coat anodizing, or magnaplate surface treatments.
