Cable heaters actually come in various forms/shapes, including:
- Straight: Considered the most basic/common form and is often used in applications where the heater needs to be routed, cut, and/or shaped on-site.
- Formed: Customized to specific shapes, including complex 3D geometries, so they fit precisely into milled grooves or around objects.
- Spiral-Wound: Typically installed around cylindrical forms.
- Cartridge-Style: Designed for easy insertion into drilled holes.
- Coil: Ideal for applications that require high power in a limited space.
