The Watlow F4T is a powerful and versatile temperature and process controller designed for a wide range of industrial heating and thermal applications.   • Intuitive Interface: The Watlow F4T requires minimal training. Operators can easily personalize profiles, alarms, inputs, and outputs using the 4.3” color-touch panel. The controller also supports multiple languages, including English, German, Spanish, Italian, French, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese.
  • Field Upgrades: These controllers can be configured to include up to four control loops and function block sets, and to support batch processing, data logging, and ramp and soak profiling.
  • Multiple Communication Options: F4T controllers can communicate via Ethernet/TCP, Ethernet ICP/Modbus TCP, or Modbus 485.
  • Responsive Alerts: The controller can be programmed to provide text or email alerts for input errors and conditional alerts.
  • Modular Design: The F4T comes with optional removable/field-pluggable I/P modules and offers up to 36 input/output quantities.
  • Backwards-Compatible With Older Watlow Controls: If you’re upgrading your controls, the F4T can easily replace discontinued F4S, F4D, or F4P controllers.
  • Auto-Tuning: The controller’s integrated TRU-TUNE® auto-tuning feature makes setup easier and reduces the need for separate, discrete components.
  • Backup Sensor: Should any unplanned shutdown occur that impacts the controller’s primary sensor, the controller will automatically switch to its SENSOR GUARD backup sensor.
