Eurotherm’s 3500 Series (EPC3500) dual-loop temperature controllers are fast, flexible, and easy to use in applications, such as heat treatment, semi-conductors, and autoclaves. Advanced features can be configured using a PC-based graphical configuration tool. The controller features 2 PID loops, 50 programs, maths, logic, and timer outputs, and a fully customizable user interface.

  • Truly Customizable: The 3500 was designed with flexibility in mind, making it possible to achieve “Out of the Box” operation. You can select from a variety of application blocks, including maths, logic, and timing, and can even develop custom programs.
  • Easy Programming: This controller can be programmed using a computer-based tool, where you select function blocks from a library and connect them via soft wiring to implement cascade, ratio, and other intelligent control strategies.
  • Clear Display: This controller features a large, intuitive, 5-digit display with custom or standard views of essential data. The display also features vertical and horizontal process bar graphs.
  • Secure: Its integrated security prevents unauthorized cloning.
  • Flexible: The 3500 Series offers 16 module types, including relays, logic, triacs, and analogue modules. The number of slots varies based on the specific model you purchase.
  • Setpoint Control: Many heat treatment processes require setpoints to be changed throughout different stages. This controller offers two programmers that can be configured as independent or synchronized programs. You can create up to 50 programs and 500 segments for better control.
  • Carbon Potential: This controller can calculate both carbon potential and temperature when monitoring an atmosphere-controlled furnace.
  • Seamless Integration: This advanced controller can integrate easily into any system, even legacy, because it’s compatible with a wide range of communication options, including Modbus RTU, Profibus DP, DeviceNet, and Modbus TCP/Ethernet.
  • Optional IO Expander: Depending on your application needs, you can choose 10 in/10 out or 20 in/20 out.
